Bicycle: the ultimate Chinese weapon

Two thieves riding a motor-scooter flew by and snatched a woman's purse on a street in Wenzhou, China. Surveillance video shows a calm man riding a bicycle. As he was passing by the front of a hotel near where the thievery happened, he stopped, calmly got off his bicycle, aimed it, and then threw it at the thieves. Police arrived on the scene just on time to snatch the crooks.

Kungfu Bunny: animated and real come together

A man tries to combat a nasty rabbit with his trained dog and own hands.

This ingenious work has been created by a Chinese animator working under the pseudonym Vincent. The animated feature combines real objects and surroundings with drawn characters. The video is currently a big hit on Chinese Youtube.

Salami battle over a shopping trolley

The Daily Telegraph reports:

The fight took place in the western city of Aachen when a 74-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman both laid claim to a shopping trolley on Saturday.
As the pensioner wrestled the cart from the hands of his rival, her 24-year-old brother stepped forward and floored him with a punch.
Together with their 53-year-old mother, the brother and sister then took the trolley into the supermarket. But the OAP came round and followed them to the cheese counter.
He clubbed the younger man with a salami as his mother tried to fend him off with a sharp 4lbs piece of Parmesan.
The pensioner then pushed the woman down on to a glass countertop on which she cracked her head.
Police arrived to break up the melee. Two of those involved were treated in hospital for minor injuries.
The trolley was undamaged.

Phenomenon in the skies

Citizens of Tromso and Alta in Norway became witnesses of a fantastic natural (or Russian, things are still not clear) phenomenon. The sky began to shine and literally spin into a spiral. Local newspapers and TV stations were flooded with calls from amazed observers. Some already joke this was a harbinger of Obama's arrival to the country. Whatever it was, the photos are amazing.
