Phenomenon in the skies

Citizens of Tromso and Alta in Norway became witnesses of a fantastic natural (or Russian, things are still not clear) phenomenon. The sky began to shine and literally spin into a spiral. Local newspapers and TV stations were flooded with calls from amazed observers. Some already joke this was a harbinger of Obama's arrival to the country. Whatever it was, the photos are amazing.
